Dr. Elizabeth M. Hagermoser is a licensed psychologist who has been servicing the Madison, Wisconsin community since 2017 administering psychoeducational assessment and providing outpatient mental health services. Dr. Hagermoser earned her Doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2016. She completed an APPIC and APA approved internship in the Nebraska Internship Consortium in Professional Psychology at the Boys Town Center for Behavioral Health and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Boys Town Center for Behavioral Health in Boys Town, Nebraska.

Hilary Schwartz is WILDD's Diagnostic Coordinator, and will be your point person throughout the diagnostic process--keeping you informed, answering your questions, and scheduling your appointments. She often administers the standardized Academic Achievement testing battery. Hilary is also our Lead Instructor, and has been teaching children and adults with dyslexia since 2002. 

Julie Horner-Girard received a Bachelor’s of Science in Cognitive Sciences from the University of California-Irvine. During her undergraduate work she focused on neuropsychology and brain development within individuals with disabilities as well as educational studies and developmental psychology. As an undergraduate, she was involved in NICHD research that investigated the physical health of children and the role of normative stressors. She obtained her Master’s and Doctorate Degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the area of School Psychology with an emphasis in Clinical Neuropsychology and Prevention and Intervention Science. During the course of her studies at UW-Madison she completed advanced practica that included working with children with disabilities and their families in community-and primary care-settings. She also completed advanced research and statistical courses in addition to her normal course of studies. Aside from school psychology, she completed a separate clinical track that involved a doctoral residency accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC). Her main areas of interest are in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Special Education Policy and Advocacy, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health Assessment and Intervention, and Neuropsychological Assessment and Intervention. She has worked in diverse settings, including clinics, hospitals, universities and schools, with families, children, and adults. She currently works full-time in a school district as a district school psychologist (Early Childhood to 12th grade) and as a consulting psychometrist for the Wisconsin Institute for Learning Disabilities/Dyslexia, Inc. (WILDD).

Shelby Bowser is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Shelby received her Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Psychology in 2018 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She provides services at WILDD as a psychometrist, where she administers and scores neuropsychological tests to aid individuals in understanding their functional capacities. Her clinical experience also includes performing neuropsychological services, as well as individual counseling services at another outpatient clinic in Madison. She also maintains a consultant role at an inpatient facility, providing testing and counseling services to patients within the brain injury and behavioral health programs. Across these settings, she works with a wide variety of clients, including adults and children, as well as cognitive disabilities, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health diagnoses. Shelby has a strong passion for supporting individuals with disabilities in understanding their abilities and finding independence.
